All week I have been battling lousy low life little insects: Bees. They have been trying to steal the nectar out of my fake flowers. We tried to negociate, I told them that the flowers had no nectar, but as I dont speak Bee, they didnt understand. All they said was "Buzzzz Buzzz Biizzz Buzz" and flew around a bit before leaving to go report back to their queen. I know bees are supposed to bring good luck, and are gentle loving creatures that only sting when threatened. I still dont like them in my room! And I dont like the thought of being stung either.
So this morning I ventured off to the Dollar Tree to go and find some items that would assist me in conquering The Bees and regaining control of my room. I really was looking for curtains, or something to stick over my window to prevent them from flying in. But i didnt find any. I did find a plastic yellow table cloth with butterfly designs on it and i also found my weapon of choice: a fly swatter. I dont intend to hurt the bees, i thought that maybe giving one of them a good swat that sent it hurling out the window might teach them a lesson to not mess with me.
So far the curtain has worked. Besides smelling terribly like plastic, it has really helped keep the bees out. A few minutes ago one flew by and tried to get in, but it couldnt. HAHA BEES I WIN!!!
Hopefully i wont even have to use the fly swatter (even though, i know a few people who do deserve a good swat on the head)
my room looks rather intresting now. there is the guitar posters, the daisies, the snowflakes, the seahorses and now the huge yellow butterfly curtain.
Now that i have build my wall of defense, i think the bees will surrender very soon. YAY!!
